Kanguro X1 Caliper

Post by Steve Brown »

Looking for a front brake caliper for a Kanguro X1 please. This is the type with two opposed pistons on the first of the disc front brake models. Please get in touch if you can help my mate complete his project.

Still looking for a caliper for this, happy to recondition one so please don't be shy if you have a well used example!
We are also looking for a sidestand for the same bike, this is the frame mounted type. Even if yours is bent and mangled we might be able to use it if the pivot end is still repairable.

Hi Hombre, It should be 95mm between mounting bolt hole centres and 32mm piston diameter. It's the same style as the Sport and Strada but smaller pistons, one piston each side of the disc and no sliding arrangement as on the later Kangu's.

Yes I do thanks, so does Ned the Kangu owner, on our way.

All sorted now, thanks to some pretty nifty Anglo-Dutch co-operation. This is a brilliant forum!
