Hi Ross, this is my MkIII Camel which is the model that would have the Valentini tank.

I have modified the seat for comfort and to fit MkII type side panels (when I get around to making them), hence there is a gap between the lower edge and the standard panels.
The seat foam is from a 501 Camel/Coguaro/ X2 Kanguro which needed widening and reshaping to fit the base etc.

It's spelt 'SIMOOM' in English. "Simoom is a strong, dry, dust-laden wind. The word is generally used to describe a local wind that blows in the Sahara, Israel, Jordan, Syria, and the deserts of Arabian Peninsula".I presume SIMUN is the Italian spelling.
