As above I'm looking for a 140mm drum brake backing plate if you can help? I am happy to do some restoration but even more happy if you have a good one or even NOS? I'm in UK for postage etc, am happy to buy or trade some of my stuff.
Please PM me here if you can help.

Re: Wanted-Camel Mk1 or 2 Front Brake Plate
Hi Steve, I think the Armstrong MT500 used the same sized Grimeca hub/brake plate?
Or you fit the slightly larger complete front wheel from a Kanguro if really stuck?
Good luck with the quest, Ian

Thanks Ian, I hadn't thought about the Armstrongs-good idea! I'm out of Kanguro wheels too, now! They got used for the flat track project...
What I'm planning is a second set of wheels so that I can have a choice of tyres for different rides. I have a hub and a rim, just missing the back plate. I even have spare new shoes!
