I've been told that none of the 478cc motors have the crankcases drilled to hold the Neutral switch in place, but the bossess are certainly cast into the crankcases of my 500 and 350. My 400 dart uses this boss to hold the neutral switch. Can anyone tell me if the part of the gearbox that engages the neutral switch on the Dart is unique to the later gearboxes. I.e. Can I install a Neutral switch from a Dart/Camel/Excalibur onto my Sei or 350 gearbox, and add a neutral light? If not, I wonder if that part of the g'box that activates the neutral switch is interchaneable with the relevant part of the 500/350 gearbox.
Thanks.

I have now bored the neutral switch boss on my 500 and fitted a neutral switch from a 501 motor. If I could find another neutral switch I would do the same with the 350 but apparently they are scarce.
