Does anybody know if the 500 silencer mounting brackets are different to the 350, please?

Comparing 1975 350 brackets and 1980 500 brackets: the only identical aspect is the distance between the two silencer mounting holes (119 mm centre to centre). The upper/frame mounting hole on the 350 bracket is 3 or 4 mm higher than on the 500 bracket. On the 350 bracket the upper/frame mount is on a different angle to the two silencer mounts; on the 500 bracket they are on the same angle.

The silencers used on these two models are quite different. A later 350 with the same type of silencers as the 500 might be more likely to have the same brackets.

Thank you. My brackets are about an inch short of the footrest hangers and slightly lower. I think I'll probably need to fabricate a new bracket.
