Hi.
Just replaced the 2 into 1 with a standard set up on my 500. The problem is I'm having trouble getting the rear cylinder header to fit, without undue strain, over the rear set.

My question is this- Are the standard pegs really that uncomfortable?

I know it's a very subjective question and I would have to fit them and see for myself, but I was wondering if any one who has used the set up on a regular basis could give an opinion. I'm around 11 stone and 5 an a half foot tall.

I didn't find clip-ons and standard pegs too bad on a 500 Sport, unlike my 350 Sport.

Are these OEM pipes? I've found that many pattern pipes don't fit that well.

They are original sito pipes. Think I'll give the std pegs a try, see how I get on with them before I look at modifying anything.
