Plugs and caps

Post by Treebod »

Hello, can anyone out there tell me conclusively what plug to use in my 500 track bike,& are there better caps for these than others- resistor or not? Thanks.

Can't tell you which plug but on my 350 it's no resistors and a smart set of new plug-caps/leads made by tankstraddler of this parish.

Ever since Benjy Straw used to service my 500 30 years ago he put in B8EVs in - think 7s were standard, 8s being harder

Ive since discovered it should be long nose plugs so now I use BP8EVX (the platinum tipped race plugs, too specialised for Charlie Chan to fake unlike standard NGK plugs, which can be a minefield if bought from autojumbles)
