The clutch assembly is the same on all the air cooled V twins. So if listed for a Kanguro then fine. It's probably because the Kanguro was a big seller in many countries so the most common model.

Hi Tim,
Damn! i wish i had seen this thread before i had to resort to drilling out one of my clutch studs after it broke free and started turning in the hub!!
So i now have a very nice, hardly worn, clutch hub with a drilled stud?
Question, has anyone got any suggestion's on a repair, maybe with a stud from a worn hub? Or a usable replacement for sale.

bad luck Terry although if it was turning it may have been of limited use

returning to my query about clutch plates - these are advertised on fleabay but the 500 sport is pretty much the only one not listed. Just to be on the safe side - can I be certain they will fit?

350 all models including Kanguro and 478 cc 500 used the same driving plates (composite)
3.5mm plates are Morini part 20.01.25
2.5mm plate are Morini part 20.01.24
There is One 2.5mm plate fitted first, then the rest are 3.5mm plates.

So yes they will fit.

Note Surflex catalog (Veterane) lists all Morini clutches and the required part numbers for full kits including the special dished plate (20.01.32)

I have also been guilty of telling everybody that the clutch centre is the same part on 350 and 500. Well, I owe you all an apology-I am 100% wrong!
The difference is the splined centre-it's larger diameter for the 500. I had thought the difference was just the steel bush and the bearings. Hey ho.
