Kanguro 350 swingarm bushes

Post by Neil P »

Hi. Just looked at my older thread and realise we have had the kanguro in the family for 3 years. Gets used most days for mrs P's commute and occasional weekend fun. Its been relable, fun and very cheap to run.
However i am now in the process of fitting some new phosphor bronze bushes that came from NLM.
I have cleaned the swingarm and spindle and now have the new bits in the freezer and hope they will slide right in.

My question is has anyone fitted these and got any insights and what if any lubrication grease should i use ? Thanks.

Turns out the spindle fit inside the bushing is tight but doable, while the bushing fit inside the swingarm is more of a squeeze.
All good now. The play on the old plastic bushes was extreme.
What sort of pivots do the road Morinis have ?

The stock roadster bushes are cast Iron. Due to their generous 50mm width, I've found that PTFE bushes work well.
