Nothing!

Post by Coxey »

Morning all
I've just bought a brand spanking new battery off NLM for my Kanguro X3.
The bike hasn't run for about two years as it's been in storage while we moved house, but it was working fine up until then. OK, new battery attached to bike and nothing! No idiot lights, headlights, hooter, electric start. Nothing

I've never been particularly good at electrics so was wondering What would be the best procedure or way to narrow down the fault?
Thanks

1. Check the fuse?
2. Battery the right way round?
3. Sell it to me? :)

I presume the battery has been filled and charged?

 you have to do that?

Only joking :D
I'll start with the fuse and follow the wires round

My 500 had a problem with the fuse in the loose wire. Nowt worked except the engine. Does the engine start on the kick starter?

Sorted now. There were a couple of loose wires. Started first prod of the starter - not bad after two years or so since the last start.
:D
