New Light through Old Windows.

Well it’s been a while, but I was out and about on the Camel last night. I’ve been using my Veefer more recently, and in fact this was my fourth different bike in four days, so tends to emphasise the differences.

Wind was strong enough and gusty enough it felt like the bike had a misfire. Other than which I was marveling at the sticky 6 speed gear box, dragging clutch, outright liar of a neutral light, massively over optimistic speedo (vaguelia) – 130 kph? I mean, come on, and the rear drum that has a certain propensity for also dragging/sticking. Still a fun ride though. So I still have to fashion a bash plate for the bottom of the sump, do some R&D on clutch plates and sort out some wheel bearings and then fit the second hand drum I managed to acquire along with some new shoes. Apart from which, it was so tall I felt I could barely get on it.
