Nice photos, clips look like a lot of fun too!
Funny thing that one was apparently inappropriate for young viewers, I made google think I'm 86 now so I watched it anyway

Yes I got the 'Not suitable for some viewers' warning too. I wish I was brave enough to hit that button.

I am an incurable liar.

I used the bike for just a crusey road ride up in the hills thismorning to drink coffee at a trendy cafe. It makes a quite a good road bike !
I could have passed as a hipster........if I was 30 years younger and had a hairbun

Well this may come as a surprise to some, but I am putting the bike up for sale.
It is not that I dont like it, just the opposite actually. Or it is not running well. It has never run better !

I have a strong hankering for a 2019 Aprilia Tuono. I even have to sell my 2004 Tuono to do it. I really want a modern ABS TC ETC ETC world class bike.

I have loved turning the Camel into to a reliable good ride and doing some camping rides on it. It really has been a rewarding journey.

But if it does not sell, I will be happy to keep it.

Cheers.

SOLD to another Morini fan on the other side of the country.
Will be picked up next week.
He is looking to do a supported ride to the outback town of Birdsville as well as others. So it seems it will live on doing what it was made to do. Ride the deserts.
I will be jealous.
Its been fantastic being here and in a strange way I felt I made friends.
All the best !

Glad you found it a new home, and one that will keep it doing what it’s been doing, but sorry that you’re moving on.

I’ve enjoyed your updates and pictures, and I hope it’s new owner continues to share its story. Please let them know about this forum so we can continue to fuel our jealousy and marvel at seeing a camel in the proper environment.

Thank you, and best wishes (and see you again in the future perhaps!)

Good that it's gone to a new home where it will continue to be used properly. You will miss it though!

Ross, you sold a piece of history. I absolve you only because a bike like this goes to a Morini fan, who will take care of it. And I am not surprise that you sold immediately.
I understand that modern bikes are thousand times better, but they are without a soul.
Let me know when you buy it back. Hello. Angelo
