I think I'd risk welding that nut to the shaft. Sounds like someones diy lash-up anyway!
The pick up leads are with the standard spade ends, direct to the transducers plus the earth lead. Haven't seen any that go to a multi plug connector.

A quick update on the front brake cable for those reading along...
The cable from Mdina seems to have an imperial sized adjuster rather than M6 x 1mm thread pitch. It's very close, however, it's just over 6mm in diameter, around 6.2mm according to my digital slide rule, which is suspiciously close to 1/4". BSF has a thread pitch of 26 TPI (1mm pitch would be 25.4 TPI if I remember my conversions correctly). https://www.ring-plug-thread-gages.com/ ... -data.html I've ordered an M6 die that has a cutout through from centre to the outside edge in the hope that I can use it by passing the brake cable inner through the cutout (which I'll widen with a cutter if necessary) and then rethread the adjuster. Saves me having to remove the end (which is also about 0.5mm too large a diameter to fit in the cam lever on the front brake plate).
I'll update this post once I've made more progress. I'll also let Mdina know about problems with the cable so they can check with their supplier and resolve any issues (says he in hope

Hi Julian, my new spare Camel front cable is M6 X 1.0 pitch and has the same part number as the cable listed by Mdina.
I came across this problem when working on a Mk3 Camel belonging to a friend, where the adjuster was tight and difficult to move yet the adjuster on the old cable was fine.
His solution was to open up the slot in the alloy torque arm with a screw driver!
The diameter of 6.2mm is probably too big.
