My recent purchase, please help me ID

Post by TPG-2000 »

What do you think? I am new to Italian bikes. I didn't know what it was when I bought it, from looking at pictures in the internet I think I determined it to be a Corsaro 150cc or Hurricane as its called in the states.

What do you think, am I right? and where can I get a tank?

Hi

I have no idea, but I would think your best starting point would be Stuart at North Leicester Motorcycles in the UK or Herdan in the US.

Good luck, Mark.

yes, this is for sure a CORSARO 150. I do not know how it was called in the USA market.
Everything looks original but the tank!
Can the engine run?
I will check if I can find a tank for you, even if you may have to re-paint it or restore it.
Give me a few days and I'll get back to you.

Hi Alex, whereabouts are you? I have a 1959 Corsaro that is not complete (and not original either) It will need a few small parts to get it running.
All donations to the rest home for old Camels, Leicestershire.

I am from Siena, Italy. I have a good inventory of parts for Morini, including CORSARO 125.
If you can pass me your e-mail address, I will send you the pictures of a tank I have available.
If you need any help with your CORSARO 1959, please let me know. Probably it would be good to have a picture of it to better understand.
