'68 Tornado (Settebello) 250 manuals and key?

Post by AntietamClassicCycle »

A friend just bought a very low mileage Tornado 250 in good original condition. He has an owner's manual, but a workshop manual would be helpful. Any out there in paper or download form? Thanks.

Hi,

I looked for a long time but couldn't get any sort of manual for the 175/250 single range at all. 'Asked at 2 or 3 Italian autojumbles I visted too. I have a users manual and parts list for the 250 which I copied for the club and I'm sure they'll still have for sale, as there are about 3 in the UK!

Cheers

Thanks Pete. The 250 "Tornado" (Settebello) is now here for me to get sorted. Found a key, but still no workshop manual. Wonder if NLM have any parts? Even a gasket set would be helpful.

Mostly the same as the 175 Tresette.

Gaskets from Athena.

Thanks Paul. The owner is supplying me with a .pdf copy of the 250 user's/owner's manual, I was hoping to find something with a bit more detail such as a workshop manual.

Such things often never existed. A much greater mechanical knowledge was assumed and expected back then.
