Help identify a Morini Single

Hi,
I am new here so I hope you can help. My mate has just bought a house in Italy and has found a Morini single out the back of the property. He has no internet but has texted me the Frame Number - A21733 and for what it is worth the Reg Number is AT1 3851. Cant find an engine number yet
He says the cylinder barrel look large and thought it would be a 500cc but a quick look at the net tells me it would be a 150/175/250.
Talk about being jammy! I am of course very envious. If any of you guys could help out with a clue as to what this is it would be great.

Looks like the original 175 Turismo to me; Iron barrel with small head and 3 bolt rocker cover. Smooth left hand outer case.
Didn't the Briscola have leading link forks,or did that depend on year? The Massimo Clarke book is out reach right now.

Stuart from NLM suggested that the A prefix on the frame number suggested a Turismo so you may be on the right track. I love the finned castings on the brakes and the sump! It is definetly tele front end and swingarm at the back.
It is back in UK now with a view to doing a restoration on it so the more info the better to get her back on the road again.

I have that exact same bike at home and people always ask when am I going to paint it? I say huh? They say, well its primer gray you know.... I like mine, but its incredibly heavy. I'd like to put a solo seat on mine. Pauls right, its a turismo and has a very low compression ratio which makes it a joy to start. The 19" front wheel take a little getting used to.

Sorry for being a bit late to the discussion. That's a very early Turismo you have there, with the speedo still in the fork crown plate (the speedo should be marked Moto Morini).
The bike looks pretty complete and worth a restoration.
Don't expect performance of this bike, she runs out of steam passed 50 MPH!
