Corsaro ignition

Post by Clive »

Hi.

Can anyone help me? I searched for info on any service info for a 1970's Corsaro 125, but with no success.
I'm looking specifically at the ignition - points gap and timing.
I've found various info on valve clearances - .05mm and .10mm.
Any info at all would be great.
Thanks.

Hi Clive
I have a 125 Corsaro data sheet, but I have to say that it is undated. But it probably answers your questions. It shows:

Ignition gap: 0.35 to 0.40mm. Ignition timing 37 to 39 degrees before top dead centre on full advance.
Valve clearances inlet and exhaust: 0.05mm.

Hope this helps.
