Kanguro / Camel / Sahara Wanted (...and now found)
Has anyone got an off-road Morini twin they want to sell?
I'm supposed to be doing some off-road riding in Spain next spring and am looking for something a little different to do it on.
Projects considered as long as they're mostly complete.
Let me know what you've got....

Hello Martin,
you might consider buying one here in Spain.
Here's a good example:
https://www.milanuncios.com/motos-de-cr ... 363453.htm
MOT'd with all docs, electric start fully functioning and in very nice condition..
I'm sure it could be had for a lot less.
The best colour too !

Wow; thanks for the quick responses Haboola and Tom.
Tom's brother's bike might be exactly what I'm looking for; does he have an email address so I can ask some stupid questions?

Re: Kanguro / Camel / Sahara Wanted....
I've got an Kanguro X3 350 which I bought in May this year and then spent time getting it working reliably as it'd not been used for years and was shocked to actually be ridden. I'm happy to keep it, but know it's not likely to be mine for ever (unlike my 501 engined 3 1/2, I hope).
FYI I've replaced the ignition coil, one of the transducers (and have 2 brand new ones from Italy available as spares), and the regulator/rectifier. I also bought s/s downpipes to go with the s/s exhausts already fitted, tidied up the wiring, fitted a shock cover (the rear shock is an as-new Hagon). It starts on electric and kick and rides well. I'm about to replace the seals in the rear Grimeca calliper. It passed its MoT recently and I last rode it yesterday.
It's got a fancy modern integrated speedo, rev counter and idiot light console, the originals are in a box. Overall the bike seems in good order and hopefully will be reliable for long rides (for me that's 500+ miles). The most I've ridden it is about 100 miles in a day so far.
PM me please if you're interested. The price would probably be around £1800 without the extra new transducers, I'm happy to sell these for what I paid for them (including delivery) if the bike's sold, otherwise they'll stay with me as spares.
BTW: I'm selling it as I've never had a Dart and this could be a good opportunity to replace one Morini with another
