Modern bikes

Post by SupermotoDave »

Heres a subject for you all to think about, the best answer might get a mention in the next ATG.

What is the most over-styled and over thought bike on sale in 2018, you know, the one that makes you think "what have they done?".

Note: I'm not looking for the worst bike, thats a different question.

Starter for 10? Ducati Diavel?

No contest - you win!

I'm not totally convinced by the Husqvarna Vitpilen or Svartpilen immediate appearance but I'm strangely drawn by the underlying form ;)

I quite like the Huskies, it looks like a common bit of bodywork applied to a standard frame (OK basically a KTM so a pretty good place to start) to allow street and trail versions, hmm who ever did that before? (Cough Triumph)
Its just the fact that the body looks like it has been designed by someone copying a Philipe Stark toaster, but I do think it is functional ish and I like it.

Not a specific bike, but this new fashion of bikes with no rear fender.
A deadly innovation.
