The footpegs may be adjustable, the Strada ones are.

On a 2C the adjustment can be a bit theoretical because of the gear linkage - see my reply to other post.

Hi to everybody!
I introduce myself as a new user. I am 55 years old and I am from Turin in the northwest of Italy. From my nick you understand that my name is Angelo.
I've always had off-road bikes, especially 2 strokes. The Morini Camel (1st series - red) has become part of my small collection for some years.
Maybe you'll recollect it because it was at the Maidstone Rally, last June.
Now I'm restoring a second one, fortunately found abandoned in a garage.

Well best I jump in & say hello. No Morini but I've always liked them - for no particular reason. I've a couple of Guzzis, 3 Triumphs, a GasGas, a CCM & a few Japs so I am already a glutton for punishment . . .

Welcome to the forum, Vitesse. That's quite a stable you have, just missing a Morini (or two)...

Thanks. I would have to clear some space Inthink to get anything else in. I do have a 250 v-twin but it's Japanese & 2 stroke . . .

Thanks, I will post some pics in the Camel section.

Cheers,
Ross.

Here, but you need to be a MRC member to access the members area generally:

hello morini riders,
I am roger from the York area, I acquired a 250 2c about a year ago. I struggled to get it to run well enough to ride. however thankfully I found the mrc forum and educated myself to the peculiarities of the model. I now have a bike I look forward to riding, roll on spring, many thanks to the contributors to the forum, I hope I will meet some of you in due course

Hello Mr Rider, I'm in Knaresborough, so not far. There are a couple of other Morinisti in York.

Perhaps a meet up at Seaways or Fimbernthis might be an if. There is also a Gentleman in Beverley (yes, you, Mr GB) so we might have a few people...

I've never been called a Gentleman before :? I'm not sure I can live up to that.
A meet up at Seaways or The Teapot at Fimber sounds good to me. I get there most Fridays as it is to catch up with the other AJS and Matchless riding old farts. I regard it as a training day in my preparations for admission to the rest home

thanks for your kind response to my intro.
fimber via garrowby hill would be a good test for the little bike. if the weather will cheer itself up I hope to get a few miles into it, get it properly warm to re check carburation, bed new tyres in , stop trying to change down with the back brake, little things like that.
thanks roger
