Definitely no offence taken, Dom
Call me old fashioned, but I reckoned that it should not be possible to move a handlebar even by applying ones full weight to it, let alone a mere shove off the stand. It would be an instant MOT test failure, and well deserve the judgement of 'vehicle in a dangerous condition'. As it is, it seems to have been sorted but only by tightening to a torque a little in excess of the maximum recommended for an 8.8 grade 10mm bolt. Its something I shall be keeping an eye on for the time being. I must confess to being a little disappointed with the engineering, but they have noticeably improved the riding position - Mrs GB no longer has to position a nork on each side of the tank - but for goodness sake, dont tell her I said so

Another thought Steve, is there a Loctite product that might help with the bars? I don't know much about their range but I know it's pretty comprehensive.

Re: Tarozzi high-rise clipons
There is, Dom. I use green loctite, I forget the number of it now, and its a first class engineering glue. The point is though that I shouldnt have to resort to it given some proper engineering design. It also means that minor adustments would be more of a problem once it has set.
As Ive said, the bars seem to be sorted for now. If there are any further issues Ill consider other solutions.
