The switchgear was a bought-in item, which would have been a standard subassembly made by a supplier. Intended for use on a variety of manufacturer's bikes. The colours would have been beyond Morini's choice.

Thanks - today I rewired the throttle assembly switch gear - my first bit of proper soldering ever -which after practicing half of yesterday when I thought I would never get the hang of it went remarkably well.
