Milano impressions
A very impressive motorcycle.
Wonderful engine, handling is lovely when you get used to rolling around on the 190 rear tyre. Slim seat and tank means feet flat at standstill. Brakes are very powerful.
A cross between a Scrambler and a Corsaro.
Go and try one. Need to test the pillion.

Re: Milano impressions
So is this the reason you've been selling off your air-cooled V twin bikes and spares?

Re: Milano impressions
Could you post a couple of pictures of front and rear suspension settings your Milano is set on?

Re: Milano impressions
Hello,
I am not sure photos would help. I have left the settings at standard for now. The settings from the factory are in the manual.
Once bedded in, in the spring now, I'll tweak mine. I find the rear firm. I have only done 400 miles as the weather is a bit damp. Now SORNd as I am using my winter hack.
I do like the fact the ride height can be altered on the rear.
Good luck keeping the rear wheel clean.

Re: Milano impressions
Thanks for the information Mike. We'll be interested by the end of the summer, what you set the heights and adjustments at.
The LE version has the "special white wheels", we don't envy you trying to keep the grime off. They do look smart when they are clean though

But i'm a lard arse, you will need much softer springs than me!
Got the leather jacket, cover and the panniers yesterday. Still proudly made in Italy!

Re: Milano impressions
Brilliant they are soft panniers on some kind of side rails?

Re: Milano impressions
Yes, when I have attached the rails, I'll post a photo.

See under accessories... the panniers are quite large, large enough for my smalls...
They lock internally to the frames.

Re: Milano impressions
We were going to ask for a picture of just them on the floor, but worried we might get the smalls not the rails, haha.
The tab thing we don't quite get it.

Pannier and frame. Takes open face helmet, not my flip up full face.
Not sure what has happened, but click on photos to open.

Re: Milano impressions
That looks neat, the branding goes well with the other extra highlights on the limited edition
Is the right side bag the same volume as the left? Some manufacturers go asymmetric and others get around it by spacing the full size bag further from the frame to keep it away from the silencer.

Re: Milano impressions
I haven't tried the other one. I think it is the same size as it is above the exhaust. I'll check. If so, I'll put my jimjams in that pannier so they are nice and toasty (not crusty) when I crawl into bed!
