Ducati Clubraces

De Ducati Club organiseert jaarlijks clubraces voor leden. Italiaanse motorclubs zijn welkom om aan dit goed georganiseerde evenement deel te nemen. Er mag zelfs op het circuit gereden worden. Daar hebben een aantal leden van de Moto Morini Club dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt. Zie de foto's hieronder.

The Ducati Club of the Netherlands organized their yearly Clubraces for members on this day. Other Italian Motorcycle Clubs were invited to join this huge and well organised event. It was even allowed to ride a few rounds on the racetrack on your own bike. A few Moto Morini Clubmembers had to be told only once ! See the pictures below.


O.a. met deze Ducati's werden de races gehouden.
The races were held with various Ducati models, but also other makes in different classes.

Deze Excalibur is in de Ducati fabriek gebouwd !! (Niet alle Excaliburs zijn daar gebouwd, alleen de latere).

Dit is Karst Vink z'n 500 cc racer. Deze motorfiets beschikt over het blok van een Moto Morini New York (het laatste model Chopper)
This is the 500 cc racer of Karst Vink. This bike has an engine from a Moto Morini New York (the last model chopper)



Deze machine is opgebouwd uit een Aprillia F1 (Futura) rijwielgedeelte en een Morini 3½ blok dat op een identieke wijze als de Ducati Super Mono is voorzien van een balanceringssysteem d.m.v. een loze drijfstang en een hevel. Het blok heeft een krukas van een 3½ en een Guzzi V-50 zuiger. Hiermee is het een korte slag 245 cc geworden. Voor de laatste foto's (zomer 2002) van deze Supermono volg deze link. De Supermono heeft een nieuwe benzinetank gekregen, die onder ( ! ) het blok is gemonteerd.
This machine was built from an Aprillia F1 (Futura) frame and a Morini 3½ engine. The engine has a balacing-system (identical to the Ducati Super Mono). It works with a non-used connecting rod and a siphon. The engine has the crankshaft of a 3½ and a Guzzi V-50 piston. That way it has become a short-stroke 245 cc.
