Thanks 350.
I have just received my registration documents so it will not be long before I can take her out for a ride, weather permitting

Thank you for your comments.
I took her for a ride the other day and it was great. Starting was an issue as the headlight switch is a bit temperamental so I need fix it somehow. Are these easy to remove as it is not clear how to do it?

Re: Sbarazzino almost finished
Great Riceman, well done!!
As for the the headlight switch, my guess is to take the headlight apart. First undo the screw underneath and take the chrome ring off the headlight body. Most likely the reflector is attached to the chrome ring.
I am not familiar with Sbarazzino's, Corsaro's or Corsarino's, but my guess is the wiring on the headlight switch could be soldered. Due to vibration soldered connections can "break". Sometimes you can bearly see it. That is why automotive connectors are better.
I mean this type:
this only works when the connection is properly shruk with a professional tool:
If soldered, I would re-solder the connections. If that does not help, the headlight switch could be shot.

Re: Sbarazzino almost finished
I would advise to buy a new one from Stein Dinse, among others:
https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_inf ... rettyPhoto
Check them for size first:
Lichtschalter Pagani Milano, Modell CEV Befestigungslochabstand: 51 bis 52mm (Langloch)
The key is sticking there for more then 60 years, maybe the internal parts are a bit tired.
Otherwise: unscrew it, and check/ clean the parts.

Re: Sbarazzino almost finished
Thanks again for your advice.
I have taken the switch apart and it is all in pieces inside, it appears that the internal discs have become brittle and broken up. I have looked at a replacement part, the same one as you sent in your link Tom and I think it may do the job although it does not appear to have less connectors than my current one.
I may just transfer the bits from the new one onto my existing switch and see if that fixes it.
