Re: New wire harness

Last time I tried to buy something Guzzi from Greg, I got to the online checkout and he slapped on a random surcharge for dealing with the UK. Guess he's never forgiven us for the Boston Tea Party Are you sure it was Gregory Bender? He has no "online checkout" - he sends an invoice via em...

Re: New wire harness

My friend Gregory Bender reproduces Moto Guzzi wiring harnesses - excellent quality and service. He would have no problem reproducing a Morini harness, all that he'd need would be an original to copy.

Re: K2 or such like - bores?

Hi, I recall Guzzi had some bikes with chrome cylinder bores; which at times cause issues or reported too if the age and flake. Of the “older” wee-vees did they ever tread that path and use chrome bores. Guess not the original drum brake models but what about the others? M Unlike Guzzi, Morini neve...

Re: FRONT BRAKE Update

I have a twin disc set up and a 16mm m/cyl piston with calipers fitted with 38mm pistons (I think) so according to the chart that gives me a ratio of 11.28 which is a long way off the recommended ratio of 27.1 With twin disks (and calipers) you have four pistons of 38 mm diameter, so with a 16 mm m...

Hi Steve. No US registry of owners that I know of. Herdan has very little left of commonly needed parts. Mdina Italia in the UK is where I buy most of my parts from. If you use Facebook, join the Moto Morini Motorcycles group there: https://www.facebook.com/groups/motomorinigroup In the "Files&...

Re: fuel line

I use this: https://www.mcmaster.com/5552K25 Although it says not to use it with ethanol fuels, it works fine, just needs to be changed when it turns brownish in color and shrinks slightly.

IIRC, the fairing on my 500 was made by Nisa. Might be worth checking with them? http://nisasrl.it/

Did you have the slides out? It's possible on VHBs to install them backwards - taller face to the filter side.

Never found the need to replace any Dellorto carburetor due to wear, not even those on my 111,000 mile Guzzi Ambassador. <shrug>
