FIAMM horn repair
The FIAMM horn that was on my bike does not work. I had to replace it with a crappy thing that makes a stupid noise to get it passed for road worthiness.
I would like to have the original horn on the bike so does anyone know where I can get the horn repaired?

Re: Pictures of road worthy bike
Hi Dave, Yes I am in Sydney and as far as I know this is the only 250 in Australia and Stuart at NLM has been brilliant. The bike was found in Japan and had been sitting for many years so I believe the mileage to be correct as the bike is totally original and shows no signs of use. Now I just have t...

Pictures of road worthy bike
speedo.jpg morini-left-side.jpg I took the 250 for its first longish run today and it ran beautifully. I did over 100 kilometres which was problem free. I must admit that it is a real problem starting from cold but I am happy to bump start it. The kick starter is next to useless unless she is warm ...

Rust removal
I want to remove some rust from chrome on my bike and have read that SOS pads do a really good job as an initial rust remover.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Looking good Paz. Good things come to those that wait and then spend lots of money.

Red frame 250
Hi everyone,
Once again as there is no 250 twin forum I thought I would ask the question here.
I have looked at a couple of photos of other 250 2Cs and some have black frames while my 250 has a red frame.
Is there a difference between red and black frame bikes other than the colour?
Thanks
Frank

More 250 2C info
Hi everyone,
Is there any other info out there on the 250 2Cs such as service or parts manuals?
What about magazine articles? The members site has lots of 350 info so I was hoping that there would also be a bit of 250 stuff.
Thanks

Re: Fuel tap for 250
I spoke to Stuart last night and ordered a new fuel tap but then realised that I need 2.
I will have to call again tonight.

Re: Fuel tap for 250
Thanks 72 degrees,
I have sent NLM an email and am waiting for them to get back to me. I thought that the fuel tap would be the same as the 350 but as you say as long as it works and gets me on the road then that is all that matters.

Fuel tap for 250
Hi everyone, I know that this is the 350 forum but I have a 1980 250 2C and was after some advice as I need a new fuel tap for the bike. It is the last piece of the jigsaw to make the bike roadworthy. The one that is on the bike is not standard and no matter what I do it not only leaks fuel but it p...
Re: 250 2C
I found a company in Western Australia that do black chrome and I will contact them. There is also a company in New Zealand that can do it.
I think it will probably take a while to have it done and I would rather have it as close to standard as possible.

Re: 250 2C
Thanks for the info EVguru. I will decide what to do with the pipes after I have had a good look around. I expect it would be difficult to find someone that could do black chrome. Also thanks for the links. The bike runs great and will be back on the road in 2 weeks and I am so glad that I found it....
250 2C
I have just found a 1980 250 2C and it is in pretty good condition. I imported it from Japan and I don't believe there are many in Australia if any. I think they are a fairly rare bike. Any one know how many were made? So far NLM have been great and supplied a new side cover for the bike but what I ...
