Re: Ignition Trigger / Crank Position Sensor
So that one does both functions, crank position as well as speed? The - so called - phonic wheel (D) e,g. the attached sensor does generate rpm values and ignition timing, the speedo sensor is located at the swing arm. The rpm value is then sent from the ECU to the dashboard via CAN bus. Furthermor...

Re: Replacement Stepper Motor
Hi, the stepper wires are all directly connected to the ECU, a separate stepper ground is not mentioned in the wiring diagram. One good unknown guy created a coloured wiring diagram for the Corsaro which makes it much easier to follow the wires. TPS uses a separate analogue ground together with air ...

Re: Poorly Veloce
The cam chain issue seems to be a problem of the 140hp engine only, due to the shape of the cam and the two springs per valve.

Re: Poorly Veloce
The weak point of the chains is over here and DID has just 3,4 mm whereas BWA measures 4,3 mm.

Re: Poorly Veloce
Hi, one of my cams looks similar - not nice, but still ok in my opinion. New cam chain kits are available, got two kits for 435 €. The new chains are not wider as the old ones  (the wide ones possibly are no longer available), but the supplier is Borg Warner now. The chains are extra duty wit...

Re: Poorly Veloce
Ebi have you done a 09 map yet or one without the baffles in  No, had some serious engine problems last year, piston of rear cyl damaged, didn't know why. Went back to a richer map 23ECMOLCORC (which you should try if you haven't so far) but engine was still not running at full power, then...

Re: Poorly Veloce
So other variants of the 1200 have softer cams and single springs? Are there any other differences with the engine? I know not all have an oil cooler That's correct for the 120 hp engines. They have different cyl heads with smaller valves, a little bit higher compression and of course different fue...
