I have stanchions and a pair of disc-brake lowers (if anyone needs the lowers or wants to swap) but it seems a shame to butcher them by cutting the caliper-mounts off

Ive had nearly new Avon RoadRiders crack their sidewalls, and zero reply to a couple of emails to Avon tech-support when they were still down the road in Melksham. I wont buy them again. Good riddance.
