Thanks, solves some issues with sensor characteristics. I’ll set minimum rpm when starting at 300 and skip sparks in the first few revolutions to get a reliable reading. Anne

why: at the moment I'm building a replacement for the Kokusan Ignitionbox. Retaining the original flywheel en pick-ups it is just the digital unit to organize the timing of the sparks with an optimized ignition advance curve ...

"P" has to do with the insulatortype, projected or not.
but it doesn't ring a bell what the actual difference might be, I always use the BP-series when buying NGK

but they costs next to nothing so changing won't break the bank. Do not buy from internet ...

Last friday used the MM500 as the daily transport to work, 205 km single trip. The first stretch to the A28 a little bit hesistant but then the fun started.
refueled after 180km, a welcome break as the bike is a bit small. The acoustic properties of both the Benelux and the Botlektunnel are very ...

as for plugs:
- I do not buy these anymore on Ebay, to much fakes around and to many failed plugs after a short period of running
- I only buy from a local shop with auditable sourcing from NGK

this weekend off to the local classic races in Gramsbergen. The MM500 is running well and fun to ride. as mentioned before; on secundary roads the bike will hold itself well against the modern ones. although you need all the revs and gears.

I used to send my shipments with T&T only untill a number were lost, and no action from our postal services, case closed.

then I insured the packages for an extra 2€, lo and behold they all arrive and when not they are always returned or delivered. no more losses

usually starts with 1~2 kick
if left for a couple of weeks then 2~3 kicks
the electric start is not fitted.

On my MM500 the electric fuel tap also broke down and I had to resort to using the reserve fueltap while keeping an eye on the daytrip counter. Not the best way to manage your fuelreserve.

Replaced the electric tap with a normal one but due to the fitted tophalf using it was difficult and removing ...

the MM500 does 60 mpg, and less when used enthusiastically
the V85 averages 65 mpg, used commuting to work vv, 125 miles one way
