Re: Right Hand footrest hanger
Yes I get that, but I was hoping that someone might have been able to point me in the direction for a source of a used or new one.

Re: Right Hand footrest hanger
Can you not bend it back? Original is sorted 95% back to straight now it was quite difficult as the previous Aerospace engineering owner had drilled them with a home made drill made out of concrete and straw, and had managed to drill though some of the webbing on the rear. When I removed the hanger...

Re: Grey GP new owner
Congratulations, I had my eye on that myself!
I found an owners manual and parts list, but could not find a workshop manual anywhere.
Personally, I would stick to E5. The tanks will swell out of shape the best of times, I think E10 will just make it worse.

Re: Swing arm failure
Thats not good reading. I am 12 months in of ownership of my GP, and after repairing bodge after bodge after bodge, this is concerning.
My mates constantly take the pis* and joke that will kill me one day. After reading this, its probably not a joke after all.

Re: Fork axle sliders
They are exactly the same size.
I have previously used 6/8mm stainless stud, nuts and washers with some bobbins you can get anywhere to make axle sliders.

Re: Should both headlights be on for full beam?
Few things, High beam will only come on if the engine is running. Low beam will switch itself off after about 30 sec if you dont start the engine ( side lights in both stay on). Low beam switched off when High is selected.

Re: Rectifier
Last year I pulled my Corsaro out of winter hibernation. It had sat in the garage with a CTek charger connected. On the way to the MOT, I noticed the volts dropping. By the time I got there it was 8.5V. To cut a long story short, the rectifier was dead. No sign whatsoever of any damage, smell etc. I...
