Re: Still looking for a Morini single or V-twin
Thanks for the responses. I should have said 175cc + You can put a 350 engine in there, has been done before. Uprate the rear brake hub to al 160mm strada (front is already similar to the 3 1/2) and you have a pocket rocket: lighter then a 3 1/2 and the kinked frames have better handling...

Re: Japanese Molini - odd exhausts?
your tank is clearly a K2 or later tank and not K1 like the rest of the bike. I thought all K1's had black headers and mufflers, the K2 had chrome stuff. So it could be that your bike was a transition model (a.k.a. we grab off the shelf what is available) and one of the previous owners put early sty...

Re: crankcase breather
older Morini cranckcase vents just had a open tube with a metal spring in it... just remove the plug, if it is putting out excessive ammounts of oil your engine is in not very good shape. If you are worried about stuff coming into the crankcase, just install a K&N filter http://www.knfilters.com...

Re: Double drum front wheel on eBay. . .
I thought it would be a shame to sell a complete Sport in parts... so I mailed the guy. After some back and forth he decided to keep selling the parts and not to consider an offer on the complete puzzle (only missed the cockpit and side panel) as he thinks he will get more money that way. Sha...

Re: 500 Cylinder Heads....
Might have 2 heads that were in the process of repairing the valve seats, have to dig around the shed too see where I left 'm. Interested?
One is already welded to cut new seats and the other still has to be done. No valves on the welded one, don't know about the other..
