as for electrics, there are a few stories of smoking Morini bikes when you reversed the battery terminals. Then ussually the power regulator is also busted but that does not interfere with your spark.

Do you have the correct transductors? Is there a part number anywhere?

Dom, First a question: do you run you bike hard or just around town for fun? And second: have the atomizers and needles been changed/renewed at some point? The tiny screw on which you do not see a spring is the idle air screw, the larger one close by you do see a spring on is the idle slide screw. C...

white smoke usually means oil or water, could be that there was condensation water in the exhaust or the piston rings may be a bit stuck on your rear cilinder

had similar problems with my 125H Grimeca, no way to get it going again. I mounted a Brembo moped scooter cilinder and everything solved (and better brake responce!)

have you checked your floater levels? I'm pretty sure you have but maybe you might check them again. While got the bowls open check is gas is indeed running into the carbs throught the needle valve by opening the fuel tap.

Borrani Rim numbers

does anybody know the original Borrani rim numbers for the sport drum brake model? Rim numbers for strada models (allthough never supplied from the factory) may also be of use to find a fitting rim.

sounds like a grounding problem..... just go through a inspection of all grounding contacts to the frame cleaning and putting back using acid free petrol jelly. And make a direct contact wire between battery ground and engine if it is not there already. Usually the ground wire is only to the frame a...
