Re: Longshot, engine/frame number queery 04639
Arthur, thanks for your reply, I think Tony's problem was with getting a NOVA certificate for a frame that had been in his possession long before NOVA became a thing and he decided it wasn't worth the effort, plus he bought another frame. From what I could make out and I am still fairly sure ...

Swing arm to frame plates & tank rubbers
Hi, I'm after two of the plates that bolt to the frame that the swing arm spindle passes through the centre of, part number 15.06.02. Also, four tank mounting rubbers, part number 30.01.49. the plates & rubbers are the same for both 350 & 500's but the 500 I am rebuilding also needs the special ...

Re: Brake Bleed Nipple
Old thread resurrection but does anyone know a source for correct replacement bleed nipples / size of ball bearings? I've had to destroy a couple whilst working on getting the brakes sorted on my project. Thanks

Re: Longshot, engine/frame number queery 04639
Well DVLA said nope, but don't seem to have cashed my cheque, so nothing lost yet - just have to work out which frame & adaptations I'm going to plumb for, pretty much depends on which frame the rearsets will work on..

Same part number as on the standard 500 too & I'll join the queue for a pair unless the guy I bought from can come up with the box of "missing stuff"
I do know someone who might be able to do the 3D stuff & have another 500 I could borrow one from..

Re: 500W rear brake crossover cable length
@norbert - the US spec right hand brake pedal has a cable operated master cylinder which is still left hand mounted, can be seen in the link below.

Apologies to OP but can't help with length of that cable.

Re: Longshot, engine/frame number queery 04639
Just filled in a V62 & sent it off to DVLA, I know its a long shot but it's only £25 so got to be worth a punt - probably all depends on who opens that particular post & if they have any christmas spirit in them.

Re: Longshot, engine/frame number queery 04639
Thanks Tom, that's an interesting & positive piece of information & yes I was aware of the club's dating works - need to get this built up before that happens though & it's very much in its constituent parts - probably need to start a thread in the projects section.

Re: Longshot, engine/frame number queery 04639
Thanks Steve, there is no engine with it just a bare frame but if engine 04639 is out there, then yes might be UK registered but I suspect even it was the engine is possibly long gone. As I say it's a long shot (extremely long
).

Longshot, engine/frame number queery 04639
Recently acquired a 500 frame from tony fellows who reckons he's had it around 25yrs & judging by the rusted in place centre stand spindle, it's probably be in the UK a fare while before that, but there is no paperwork or reg number with it.
