Thanks Tim much appreciated, I've managed to blag a frame but got to see if I can get that registered, trying to get a rolling chassis together at the moment & engine is with Jim at bikecare in Bristol.

Just filled in a V62 & sent it off to DVLA, I know its a long shot but it's only £25 so got to be worth a punt - probably all depends on who opens that particular post & if they have any christmas spirit in them.

Thanks Steve, there is no engine with it just a bare frame but if engine 04639 is out there, then yes might be UK registered but I suspect even it was the engine is possibly long gone. As I say it's a long shot (extremely long ).

Recently acquired a 500 frame from tony fellows who reckons he's had it around 25yrs & judging by the rusted in place centre stand spindle, it's probably be in the UK a fare while before that, but there is no paperwork or reg number with it. The longshot question before I vanish down the black h...

I'm after a Strada top yoke - assume 350 & 500 use the same don't they? I'll pm you.

Hi Julian, thanks I'll msg them tomorrow. And yes we met at the shiny bike night in Cadsden, I was on my Morini 500 sport.

On the basis that the worst case scenario would be that I'd get some new stanchions, a set of rear sets, a strada top yoke, some refurbished wheels and a stack of spares I stumped up £1k for this nice little project on ebay recently. Current plan is to get the engine either given its last rights or ...

Bought a dismantled bike recently & appear to be missing the spacer between the bearings on the front wheel, someone must have one knocking around. Thanks

Edit:- 500 twin disc & 350 single disc wire or cast wheels all have the same part number and should be 17mm id 25mm od x 61mm long

I have one in the garage loft - I fitted a mass Moto low slung system in its place, saves loads of weight and sounds great for the right money I could be persuaded to part with the original. Also have sump guard & headlight mesh if you are after the full scrambler look.

Late to the game but I was given an Abba stand the other day & fathomed out that the 22mm & 24mm sockets I have fit loosely into the adaptor cups and work perfectly on my Scrambler without any adaptors being necessary.

Well finally got round to fixing it & now back up on the road, many thanks. All ready for a run up Kophill on 20th Sept
