Hi,
I recently fitted a Motobatt MB9U on my 77 Sport. Been very pleased with it. Think I paid just under £60 delivered next day to me. Came with some handy pads for the bottom of the tray. Went for the brand as I had one on a previous bike and it lasted years and years.

Fork pinch bolt torque?
About to drop the forks out for some TLC. When they are ready to go back into the yoke, does anyone know the recommended torque setting to tighten them back up? Thanks in advance.

Re: Steering Damper question
Yeah I’m not going to have originality anxiety if I don’t put it back on. Might just keep an eye out and if I find a reasonably priced replacement, then it’s meant to be. If I can’t find one or forget to add to my list of things I’m on the lookout for I know I’m probably not going to miss it.

Steering Damper question
Hi, I found some previous posts about steering dampers and where to find a replacement. Most of them are older posts. Mdina shows no stock. Does anyone have any source they could share? Have the bracket so it’s just to replace the now notchy feeling strut. To be honest, I had not noticed any issue w...

Cheers. This must be the plastic box that sits behind it, or the part number on it is wrong?

TOOLKIT R/H - but not sure what bike!
Part number 32.02.97. Mdina describe that part # as Toolkit R/H. NOS still in packaging. No idea what Morini it’s from but it’s not one I own, so I’ve no use for it so free to anyone who needs it - cost of postage or collect from West Wiltshire or collect from AGM.

Have you tried Ian? https://www.morini-riders-club.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=43258#p43258 Or I have used a guy in Italy a few times when I can’t find something and don’t feel like hanging around for something to turn up. He sells a few bits on eBay in Italy but I just ping him on WhatsApp and ask if...

Re: Kanguro Chain Idler Wheel
Hi, how did the roller work out? I’ve been trying to fathom out what a noise on my bike was - suspect it’s the original looking chain wheel - seems pretty loose fitting so not sure the spacers are fitted.
Thought I would check before I started ordering bits from Italy!
Thanks,
Simon

Re: Forks - is bigger better?
Yeah, it came from that area. Would have been white originally, now black. The fork change was made to ‘improve ride and braking’. I have not lived with the bike long enough to really comment too much as I managed to come off on black ice and still waiting on my wrist to heal up and fitting a new fr...

Forks - is bigger better?
So I’m still pleased with my recent purchase of an X3. Been looking for a Kangu or Camel and it was close by and the right price. It’s sporting Aprilia Pegaso forks and front brake. Don’t suppose anyone knows the bike? The forks seem to do what they are supposed to albeit - not been off road yet. So...

Just an FYI that Doug had a decent used Brembo F05 calliper on the shelf which with a new seal kit and fresh pads was a straight swap.

Re: They are black and round - keep or replace?
Cheers - hope to have it on the road this week with an MOT after a mishap on black ice a couple of weeks back. Will experiment with tyre pressures then. Bike stood up surprisingly well (new front brake lever assembly, glued the indicators back together). Further questions on the bike to follow….

They are black and round - keep or replace?
Hi. So my new to me Kangu came with Bridgestone trail wing tyres. As I’m used to a 3 1/2 sport and Strada, the tyres feel horrible on the road. I’m expecting to be on tarmac for most riding but do want to head out on my local Wiltshire lanes. I would guess 70% Road. Any recommendations for that swee...

What Grimeca caliper was fitted to Kangu X3
Hi. New Kanguro owner. The bike had been sitting for a while so booked it for an MOT to assist with what might need attending to. Managed to drop in on black ice on the way to the test and slid a surprising distance down the road. All on my first ride with the V5 in my name. So have got that out of ...
