I just had the same issue with the pin this weekend on a VHB 24 (for my MV Agusta 125 Sport). I used a razor blade and tweezers, gently coaxed the pin out by dragging/scraping just enough to grab it with the tweezers. Worked fine

I always see them come up for sale on EBay, search for: moto morini 3 1/2 side panel
