No. Or at least they weren't originally. What can happen is the stand itself bends, or the frame tube twists where the stand bracket is welded. Usually because people sit on them while the bike is parked or spend ages kickstarting a duff bike while it's on the stand. I'd better have a closer look!

I am wondering, if I have the right sidestand for the bike?
It's very fiddly to kick down and it leans over too far I think?
Are they all like that?

500 Strada tyre sizes..........
At present I have 90/90 18 fitted to the front and 100/90 18 at the back but there seems to be a lot more options on 110/90 18 rears and I wondered if anyone had fitted them please?

Well it looks like my roadside failure was as a result of the rotor coming loose & sheering off the woodruff(?) key, so a few questions:- 1. what size key do I need to refit? 2. Do I need special tool whilst torquing up? 3. What is the torque setting? Thanks & looking forward to getting bac...
