I have orderd a set of MM transfers - dependant on how much the paint needs "cutting" back I may be able to salvage the transfers and so not need all the 3 ( 2 tank & 1 fly screen) transfers. I plan to buy fom ManaicMotors a pasenger seat cover and get this painted gloss black ( to go ...

Sorry for the ignorance - what is the downside in using 10w/40 which is readily available from all motor factors and £30 for 4Litres? 10w60 is impossible to find and 10w50 is difficult to get hold of.

Im about to do an engine oil change on my Corsaro ...

Checked mine last night - no seal just straight into the bearings but the gap is not 5mm its more like 2mm.

Also checked the steering was fre with no high spots - all OK.

Donnington Track Day crash - How to get MM badges?

Just got back from watching WSB and had a track day on the Monday in the dry. But lost it at the double apex right entering the straight down to the Dunlop bridge on the 1st session of the day! Thankfully the bike and I went into the gravel trap on 2 wheels and then over onto its rhd side. Damage is...

Splodge - thanks for the detailed report.

I have 3,500 miles on my CORSARO with some of it in the rain but don't suffer form the effects you describe.

I will have a look at my bike tonights and let you know if I can see a seal of the lower bearing race.

franky - just to correct it is only my esimation at present that I "should" be seeing 130bhp at the wheel based on a CAT free exhaust PC3 and race map. Time will tell when I get it on a dyno! My estimation comes from maniacmotors and the fact that the std bike is supposed to have 130-140 a...

techmoto - sorry for the delay in responding to your post but ive been away on holiday.

The Grandpasso at ManiacMotors in Nurenberg Germany was not a prototype but a productin unit for sale. It was in white and looked and rode superbly!

Cheers Nigel

I can concur witht the main beam comming on when wet ... after power washing the bike (I know its not the best way to clean a bike but it was quick!) the main beam came on when I re-started the bike to get it into the garage.

Franky - De-CAT exhaust from QD in Italy cost 420Euro excluding German VAT at 20%, which i avoided by buying it through a friends business. I fitted the exhaust in 2 hrs on Saturday, and took it for a run in the wet! Big mistake as the extra surge is evident all the way through the revs. No idea yet...

HI - if you delve throught the forum you can get a good concensus of opinion. But heres mins as a CORSARO owner with 5,000 miles on the clock bought form new in 2008. The fueling below 3,000 rpm is not as smooth as on my preious bike a MotoGuzzie V11 and on friends Jap 4 cylinder bikes. However, con...

Curtis - sorry about the mix - you are correct on "open" and closed" loop. I have yet to get my sandard ECU re-mapped at MANIAC MOTORS to ignore the lambda probe. So at the moment I am runing a CAT free exhaust on a standard ECU without the PC3 Alex at Maniac confirms that the race Te...

Just got back form Germany during which i dropped in to see Alex at MANIAC MOTORS to talk through fitting a CAT free downpipe and PowerComander. CAT fre is the best bhp per £ as it liberates 8-12bhp at the wheel. BUT a standard ECU is no-longer able to cope as it is expecting correct data from the ...

I was luky enough to have a shoert test rided (down the raod & back) and it seems great.

Curtis - I have been advised by Maniac Motors who apear to regulary "upgrade" CORSARO's that the std map with the PC111 is too far off and a custom map should always be made. The explanation being that every bike leaving Morini will be different enough to warant setting up each cylinder co...
