This is similar but don't know about the screw spacing and the cable entry
is not in quit the same place.

Re: Correct light switches for early strada
Re: Correct light switches for early strada This is a 75/6 Strada you only get a flash of the switches but can take a proper pic if needed, Moto Guzzi and Ducati used similar switches but the fixing screws are different distances apart. http://vid235.photobucket.com/albums/ee111/G7ied/Bikes/Morini-c...

Re: Spark Plugs
One thing I have found is that 0.5-0.7 mm. seems to be the recommended plug gap
mine is definitely better at 0.7mm.

Re: worrying new noise.any thoughts?
You could pull the cover and see if there's any evidence of the flywheel touching the alternator and see if you can detect any up and down moment
in the mains.
in the mains.

Re: Round Britain Rally 2015
No I naturally want to turn north much nicer with less traffic,
don't fancy the trailer thing, don't really think it's in the spirit
of the thing, a mate camps in a area then moves on as he
runs out of way points but he uses is bike no trailer, role
on summer.

Re: Spark Plugs
Fitted them today, not ridden it but it starts better and ticks over like a watch at just over 1000 rpm
maybe just new plugs against 10000 mile NGK plugs time will tell.

Re: metzeler tyres
I had Avons on mine the front took a bit of time to scrub in but they were fine after that,
but I do think the ME's are better in the wet, though I doubt they will last as long.

Re: Round Britain Rally 2015
I E-mailed Dave and he said it had been removed to stop spammers but he was going to put it back. Did you see the thread about a Morini burning oil on one pot? think your's is doing the same, the fix after much messing about seems to have been the float level in one of the carbs . I can believe this...

Re: Kick starting.
The original ignition system as a lot of retard at kick over speed
maybe yours as a after market system or very over advanced timing
but to be so far advanced I would expect it to pink when pulling anything
like hard.
