Re: LED headlight bulbs
Bulb is certainly replaceable and LEDs are certainly bright - unfortunately it is where the light goes that is also important...... Making a light to make one visible is straightforward (and the unit from the link will do that I suspect as will a number of others), getting something to fit the stock...

Re: LED headlight bulbs
The difficulty with LED headlight bulbs so far is in trying to use the original glass (lens), reflector and bulb holder. To get main and dip to work properly there need to be two different point sources of light to get the lens to provide cut off and direction - simply dimming the light doesn't do t...

Re: Midlands ride out September 2015
Sorry cannot make this most enjoyable trip this year as it is my son's wedding anniversary on that day and we are committed to grandson minding in Essex. Have a great day, will see what next year brings (apart from having to come up from Essex as we are trying to move!) - hope weather co-operates as...

Re: LED headlight bulbs
Well my first attempt doesn't work - has a projector for main (which may just work, but needs plain glass not the original headlamp glass) and simply dims the projector (a lot) for dip which doesn't work...... Also lights the main beam warning light on dip and main. Looks very pretty and fits holder...

Re: Gauges rebuildable?
Chewing up the bezel is usually the reason not to touch them, but I've never tried, but at the price it might be tempting. However looking at the listing for some reason seller does not ship to the UK.....which is odd or does it mean there is someone else who has the UK rights??

Re: LED headlight bulbs
Claims to do main and dip so have ordered one as an experiment, will advise on progress in due course!! May need a dry, warm, salt free night to test properly - just the sort of thing we get regularly in the Midlands in February..........

Re: LED headlight bulbs
They appear to be a standard fitting with two contacts so hopefully there is some form of main/dip - almost anything would give better illumination than the original filament gloworm..... Will give it a try this week and let you know what happens!! ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

LED headlight bulbs
My 350 Sport eats headlight bulbs for breakfast (and lunch and dinner...) despite fiddling with contacts, voltage control and different sources of bulbs - only dipped beam, not main. Don't actually ride much at night, but would like to have the light on as visibility and so that it will pass an MOT!...

Not sure it is my cup of tea either, but some nice touches and ideas - particularly the Motogadget stuff for the electrics though it is rather pricey!

Re: Clutch noise
Mine also makes a bit of a noise, certainly aware that the clutch is pulled in when stopped, but not enough to worry about (yet....). Be nice if someone has a silent solution!

Re: Midlands area rideout September 2014
Les Thanks from myself as well - apologies for not being able to go on to Nene Valley, but safe trip home along the 'exciting' A43 and A14 though definitely not up to the standards of getting to lunch!! Just over 140 miles in glorious weather - hope you have booked the same for next year....... Best...

Re: Midlands rideout 8th September
Many thanks Les - thoroughly enjoyed the route and the company as well as adding a few numbers to my old Ian Allen books.... Apologies for dragging everyone off for petrol - must get a reserve sorted on the tank so that I don't need to just run on mileage! See you all again next year (or at a show s...

Re: Midlands rideout 8th September
Hopefully I should be able to make this year - last time (either 2 or even 3 years ago) I was battling with a very poorly Sport which, touch great hunks of timber, seems to be behaving at the moment! Only coming from Nuneaton and weather doesn't look too bad and I even used to be a train spotter (a ...
