Re: Indicators

I've put some LED strips in all 4 indicators. They are better, particularly at night, but still not brilliant (no pun intended). The difficulty is finding some really bright LEDs that will fit ithout having to buy some pre-made (more expensive) lights which then need taking to bits. Has anyone found...

Re: Help: Rough engine response

I had the PC fitted professionally. I don't know whether an O2 optimizer was also fitted. If it's not part of the standard fitting then it probably wasn't. Does this make much difference?

Re: Spares - Belgium

Now that is impressive. I've had prompt replies to emails as well, which bodes well for the future. I hope your new GP doesn't suffer from the stalling problems a few of us experienced (it's still a fantastic bike though).

Re: Help: Rough engine response

I had a power commander fitted to mine (a 2009 model) in an effort to correct overheating (running too lean) and stalling a lot. And I do mean a lot. On one 20 mile journey it stalled about 15 times, which was pretty much every time I came to a junction. 3X were not able to resolve it. I ended up us...

Re: New GP

I've had a couple of problems with the coolant pipes popping off (It feels exactly like you have just pissed yourself if you are riding at the time). A big jubilee clip tightened with a big screwdriver was my crude fix. I wonder if they would retro fit the new pipes, and what the cost might be. Hmmm.

Re: I just bought a Granpasso!

Congratulations. That was a brave purchase. There is a thread on here for corresponding parts, but you can also get stuff direct from Moto Morini. Have a look at their website. I've exchanged a few emails with them, and they have replied promptly. I haven't bought anything yet, but it sounds quite e...

I thought we had a slipper clutch, spoked wheels and a big windscreen already.

Re: Should I buy a Granpasso?

Its a Power Commander 3 USB for the Corsaro with custom mapping done by HM racing in Edenbridge, Kent. Fuelling at low revs has improved, along with Torque and BHP. It also doesn't run so lean, thus keeping the temperature down, although it still gets a bit hot in traffic.

Re: Should I buy a Granpasso?

Hi Anders I have a 2009 Granpasso in white with a red frame. I wasn't expecting to buy it, but after trying it by chance at a Triumph showroom, I was convinced. I'm in the South of England, which has limited servicing options. You could get most work done anywhere, but I think you need a MM dealer t...

Re: Led indicators & Led taillight

Also, you don't need to have everything as it was originally. As long as it works properly and is within some fairly relaxed parameters, you should be OK.

3X service and MM warranty

Just got the GP back from 3X after a service and valve clearance check. Although it is still within the 3 year warranty period, 3X are no longer honouring the warranty as they say Moto Morini is a new company after the old one went bankrupt. Although this only applied to an inner tube for the rear (...

Re: GP FIRST RIDE QUESTIONS

I will be trying the throttle position sensor and the fuel change if things don't improve after the service. rrrey - I'm afraid you lost me with the slightly more technical talk. I've had the lambda sensor replaced by a supermoto tuning company at the ame time as they installed the PC111, but I have...
