Re: TetraBOOST
Yes Paul, me too, except I use the BP Ultimate as in Central London Ethanol has crept into V-Power. It's just that a friend with a '72 Dodge found it was running a lot cleaner, especially when around town. As a lot of my riding is in town I'm going to give it a try.

clutch studs
I'm replacing the studs in a clutch centre as 4 are mullered (looks like they worked loose at some point, bent and scores on the cover!). Obviously they need to be screwed in then peened over, so my question is the best way to peen them? I was going to use a long socket slipped over the stud to supp...

Distinguished Gentlemen Ride
Hi Morinisti, On Sunday the 28th of September, I’ll be flying the flag for Moto Morini on my Sport, riding the London 2014 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to help find a cure for prostate cancer. Why? Because over 1,300 men a day die of prostate cancer worldwide. And that’s just not cricket. Your don...

The standard taps go out behind, I have one that goes down and the pipe path isn't so good.

Re: Carb clamps/jubilee clips
I always liked those quick-release hose clips, so much easier to use.
Paul, have you found a source? The only ones I've see are too wide, 10mm, I think they should be 7mm.

valve collet
I'm stripping the heads on the motor (from an Excalibur) I'm working on.
In the past I've just compressed the springs with a compressor and the collets pop out.
On these the they don't seem to budge.
Any thoughts?

Clutch cover
Hi all,
Hope someone can help, I'm after a clutch cover, don't mind if it's painted or plain as long as it's straight!

Re: 76 Sport wire wheel rebuild workshop?
If it's wheels I'd talk to Hagon, years ago they blasted my DBS hub + rear, polished the rims an re-lased, still great. Be a shame not to sort the painted forks, might then get the chrome done... whoops forgot to stop! Still with good DBS going for £6k+ just think of it as an investment ;•] Oh and s...

Re: 350 update
Definitely worth dropping the starter jets down to 45s from 50s (this is NLMs first step) this is because todays fuel is not as good as it was in the day. Others have explained better why in other threads but it's to do with the transition from starter to mains that the stutter occurs. This will oft...

Re: Speedo (and tacho) Drive Ratios
Hi Martin, searched through all my boxes and I'm afraid no speedo rubbers, it's not like me to bin stuff so maybe they too shot. I'm sure I bought the new ones from NLM (a couple of years ago).
