Re: Camel500 Air Box

Hi Clark, finding a good 500 air box is difficult
Meantime you could use Polini filters as they work well, fit up under the tank in the original airbox space etc

Have a look at this thread

Re: Camel500 Air Box

It's the same air box as the road 500
Good luck with the quest, Ian

Re: 501 kokusan engine in a k2?

At the moment I'm using a Kokusan 501 Coguaro engine with Ducati ignition/alternator.
Therefore I thought there were no differences to the camshaft pickup/tacho machining used in the later Kokusan equiped engines?

It's simply a bolt drilled through the centre and tapped to take a grease nipple; the hole is a smaller diameter inboard of the nipple.

Re: CYMRU/WALES Section meeting

Excellent weather and afternoon at Erwood Station. Lots of support and interesting bikes, with 5 MRC folks and 3 Morini riders. It was another borders raid with Chris and Gary from the BBO Section, last month we had Steve and James from the Marches Section, so loooking forward to the meeting in May....

Re: 501 Excalibur on ebay

The 501 uses a 520 chain and the 500 has a 530
Yet are interchangable as a complete chain/sprocket set but I think the 501 Coguaro rear hub/sprocket is different to the 501 Camel?

Re: Swinging Arm

The 500 has a pressed plate brace and 350 has a tube type brace.
Or is your bike different again?

Re: Gas tank rubber retention ring

For years I've been using the the large rubber seals from car oil filters which last for years.
Worth asking at a garage if you don't do your own car oil changes.
