Re: No spark - No go

Atreyu, I dont have another coil(transducer) to try. I would think it unlikely they would both pack up together. The stator gives a reading of 300 ohms so looks OK. Which leaves the pickup. Not sure how to check it. I have only visually checked it to see if it turns on kicking.

Re: No spark - No go

Tried all the checks I could from the site, and a few ideas from Stewert at NLM. Still no sparks. It's going to have to have a trip to NLM when I get time.

No spark - No go

Out for a run today when the bike suddenly cut out and would not start again, no spark on front plug couldn't get at the rear. Got home eventually with a bit of help from AA and my brother. Had a quck check and there is no spark at either plug. Can anyone give me some pointers of where to start look...

Re: Forum problems

My access seems to have improved this week, had no problems the last couple of days. The last couple of weeks had been awful. I was lucky if I had access 1 time in 10.

Re: Banjo Bolt size

No worries Dave.
Some bikes do seem to have different size bolts in various places.I'll stick the other on E-bay some time. The first one I ordered never arrived so they sent me a replacemet. Otherwise I would have found out earlier.

Re: Banjo Bolt size

An update on fitting a front brakelight switch to a '79 3 1/2. The M10 x 1.25mm switch I bought did not fit the Grimeca MC, must be a different thread to the banjo on the 500 yolk. Bought a M10 x 1.00 switch which fits great. All wired up to the same fusebox connections as the rear brale light and w...

Re: Hi from new Forum member - 3 1/2 sport owner

Welcome Tufftrax.
Only joined recently myself, also bought a bike from NLM about 4 weeks ago. Already changing a few bits, smaller indicators, front brakelight switch and stainless front mudguard. Still getting used to the right foot gearlever after years of jap stuff.
Enjoy your ride.

Re: Replacement Side Panel Rubber Pins

Chris, sent you a cheque for 4 rubber panel pins about 3 weeks ago. Not heard anything and the cheque has not been cashed. Wondering if it reached you ok or just delayed with all the holidays recently.
Thanks
Si.

Banjo Bolt size

Could anyone tell me the size of the banjo bolt for the front master cylinder. Looking at getting a Banjo Bolt pressure switch fitted so the brake light will work off the front brake.
Thanks
Si
