This might be a factor but despite my switch giving a hearty clunk at turn on, it passeth not a drop of fuel! Anyone taken these apart and repaired?

Can ignition left on damage components?

As the ignition system is independent of the battery, would I be right in saying that if you left the key switched on there is no potential for damage to coils, transducers etc?

Sounds a quick and simple solution - why didn't I think of it! I take it you left the wheel in place and tapped both legs down together?

Fitting clip-ons

I've acquired a set of the original clip-ons for my sport. Am I right that they can be fitted simply by undoing the yoke nut and clamps and sliding on from above or do the fork legs need to be dropped out? Hoping for the quick fix!

Swing arm washer/shim location

Just removed swing arm pin from 1980 sport. All gone well but a washer/shim dropped out as I pulled the arm backwards. The internal diameter indicates that it could only have fitted on the left between the frame and the swing arm bush housing. The parts book shows it as 15.06.16 floating between the...
