Beautiful looking bike, what a shame they are having to sell it. Although I must admit I couldn't go far on a Sprt nowadays!

I've had comments that my 77 Strada sounds loud but not unpleasantly so. I must admit getting her back out on the road recently she sounded loud but I had been riding a modern Yam which of course is silenced to within an inch of it's life!

Looks beautiful, but I have enough bikes.

Could anyone advise where we could get the correct needles for his 1979 2C?

I've been advised it is Dellorto carb model VHBZ 22 HS and we need Needles (2 of} E43 Original Part Number 2343.43

Himself has apparently 'tried a couple of suppliers but no joy,

Yes, that's the one. Jim does only work part time nowadays although the place is open usual times as they are an MOT station etc. Advert in ATG

Jim at Bikecare did the master cylinder on my '77 Strada earlier this year. I can't recall which one he used and can't find the paperwork at the moment either. (The joys of a good tidy up) Give him a call, I'm sure he will remember.

My dear old 1977 girl has decided to pack up charging and I've been advised the stator needs a rewind. A search on here suggest West Country Windings or Rex's Speed Shop have been used in the past. Does anyone have any recent experience of either or any other companies they have used. I'm based near...

I do have a spare side panel, unfortunately not the same style as yours.

I like the look of that. Mind you, I need another bike like I need a hole in the head!
