One way bearing again

This pertains to the one way bearing in Kokusan type engines, in my case in a Coguaro.
I just had the garter spring which retains the cam rollers fail again, luckily at home. Last time was in Ashbourne since when I have done around 1500 miles.
I have some spare bearings so an easy fix.
Is this an occupational hazard or am I just unlucky?

I have never had or known that bearing or the spring to fail. In fact, I’ve never even replaced those items in any of my engines.

Definitely worth checking everything else out when you reassemble, and make sure the thrust washers and shims are correct and in the correct places

All a bit unexpected. I will double check the assembly again
