Clutching at, well, nothing.

Post by MickeyMoto »

My Morini has a very light clutch action. Took the hybrid for a ride today. Was thinking it strange the clutch lever travel was changing, thought it was due to last week's jolly good thrashing at Cadwell. Got to Taddy, yep, cable snapped! Nuts! Good job I didn't ride it home last Saturday. Managed to ride home... Spare cable in the garage... Hmm, where is the nipple?.. 17 miles away in the gutter! Double nuts!

Indeed. I lost the one from the Forgotten Error just in the garage and it never appeared again. Do NLM stock them as I found it hard to get a perfect match even from V en hill. In the end I got one meant for an old British bike and opened up the slot so the cable slipped in to it OK.
