Any one ridden one? I keep thinking I should have one but have never ridden one, what are they like?
I gather they are not the fastest bike in the world but are they reliable or thirsty, the ones I have
seen running seem to produce a little black smoke so did wonder if they ran rich or I have just
seen badly adjusted ones.

Better late than never but did you ever get a falcone? Just wondered because had a holiday on amalfi coast in august14 and there was a guy on a green ( ex army apparently) falcone commuting from sorrento to naples every day on one. His father had owned it for years and son had taken it over. I asked him if it was reliable. He said..."more than my px150!"

Not found one yet, just missed a good un but on the track
of a very nice ex fire service one, they seem bomb proof but
a little unexciting though that's not always a bad thing,
thanks for the reply.

Re: Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone
I have had one for the last 4 years and I must admit to being very addicted to its unhurried way of plodding threw back lanes , B roads and uncrowded A roads . I had problems with my knees a while ago and even with the decompressor it was hard to start so I fitted a dynastart which in the day was a factory option , starts first push on the button every time . Not a fast bike in standard form but look on the internet to see what the Dutch do to them , nearly Goldstar territory .
