And Now for Something Completely Different

A very trusting and generous friend let me take his Goldstar out for a burn around south west London on Tuesday. A wonderful experience, and the bike was much more user-friendly than I was expecting. It's still a no-compromise, purposeful beast and it's not for the shy and retiring either: the looks and the noise drew an enormous amount of attention and interest. But my objective conclusion was that a 3 1/2 outclasses it in all respects. And you could buy 5 good ones for what this is worth.
